A vacancy has become available at the Kawerau operation for a Maintenance Manager.
This role reporting directly to the Site Manager will be accountable and responsible for plant maintenance fixed and mobile, ensuring productivity rates and efficiencies are achieved, by forecasting, planning, organising and carrying out scheduled, non-scheduled and preventative maintenance on the fixed and mobile plant, developing an effective working relationship with all parties that have an interest or potential impact on the business.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Responsibility & ownership for developing and delivering a constantly evolving quality maintenance plan that drives performance.
- Assessing and analysing opportunities on repairs and maintenance issues to both fixed and mobile plant and machinery.
- Assessing the quality of the product outputs and make recommendations and or modifications for quality control and continuous improvement, working at both the ‘shop floor’ and as a part of the Site leadership team to resolve any plant issues.
- Leading a Maintenance Team that drives and delivers quality outcomes at all levels.
- Input into and management of the site maintenance budget both R&M and Capital.
- Developing and maintaining a commitment to a Health & Safety focused culture by promoting and supporting the company quality & safety standards, focusing on continuous improvement whilst demonstrating the company values and behaviors.
As the successful applicant, you will have proven ability to lead and motivate a cohesive team of 8 direct reports, whilst fostering on-going organisational culture and improvement, demonstrating sound judgement with a focused and logical approach to problem-solving.
