We seek to appoint a Utility Operator to our Kinleith operation based in Tokoroa.

Applicants for this role should be able to demonstrate previous experience and current competency in the operating of a Wheeled Loader, and Wheeled excavator with a Log Grapple. Previous log yard or bush experience will also be favourably considered.

The holding of a class 2 license and W endorsement is required for this role with preference of holding a class 4 also, but applicants who do not have these licences and endorsements but have the demonstrated skills and experience should apply as support for you gaining your licences may be given.

The role is Monday to Friday with the opportunity and expectation for additional hours and or alternative shifts, as required to suit operational requirements.

 Pedersen Kinleith Ltd has a vacancy for a Water Truck Driver at the company’s operation at Kinleith. We seek applications from suitably qualified and experienced people interested in this fixed term position.

 The position is for the summer months from the beginning of December 2025 until the end of April 2026.

 Applicants should be able to demonstrate previous experience and current competency in operating a heavy Truck. The holding of a class 4 full license is required for this Fixed Term role.

 The hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday 10 hours per day 5.00am to 3.00pm

The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

• Preparedness to learn and pass NZQA qualification in Log Scaling
• Basic computer skills
• Be physically fit and prepared to work in an outside environment
• Work as a contributing member of an integrated team
• Minimum of Restricted Driver’s License required

The hours of work are on a shift roster covering 7 days per week with additional hours offered to suit operational needs. This position provides the successful applicant the opportunity to join our Ticketing/Scaling team in a permanent position.
