Trainee Ticketer / Log Scaler – Kinleith Based

Pedersen Group is seeking to employ a Trainee Ticketer/ Log Scaler to join our Kinleith Operation.

The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

  • Preparedness to learn and pass NZQA qualification in Log Scaling
  • Basic computer skills
  • Be physically fit and prepared to work in an outside environment
  • Work as a contributing member of an integrated team
  • Minimum of Restricted License required

The hours of work are on a shift roster covering 7 days per week with additional hours offered to suit operational needs.

This position provides the successful applicant the opportunity to join our Ticketing/Scaling team in a permanent position.

Pedersen operate a drug and alcohol-free workplace and the successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test prior to any position being offered.

Logyard Mobile Plant Operator – Maryvale Australia

Reference Number : M24/03

Pedersen Group is seeking to employ a suitably experienced and qualified Logyard Mobile Plant Operator to join our operation at Opal Australian Paper Maryvale.

The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong Health and Safety focus
  • Previous demonstrable experience in operating a pivot Loader with bucket attachment
  • Log Forks and Excavator experience would be an advantage
  • Good practical mechanical aptitude
  • Reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised once trained
  • Motivated and show initiative.

The hours of work for the position are 5 days a week, day shift, and the position is a full-time permanent role.
