Scaling Team Leader – Tokoroa based

Pedersen Group is seeking to employ a Scaling Team Leader to join our Kinleith Operation.

The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

  • Ability to motivate and lead the scaling team to ensure outcomes both Quality and Quantum are achieved consistently
  • Maintain Human Resource to meet production demand over 7-day roster
  • Responsible and accountable for team performance
  • Responsible and accountable for the scaling teams Health and Safety compliance and adherence.

The hours of work are on a shift roster covering 7 days per week with regular additional hours offered to suit operational needs.

This position provides the successful applicant the opportunity to join our Ticketing/Scaling team in a permanent position.

Maintenance Fitter Kinleith – Tokoroa Based

Pedersen Kinleith Limited is seeking to employ a suitable experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter.  Kinleith is growing with the installation of a new Debarking Plant and our Chipping and Debarking division moving to double shift, offering the successful applicant a variety of work on both the existing Chipping Plant and the Debarker.

The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Repair and maintenance of Heavy Industrial Equipment with exposure to Timber Processing plant an advantage
  • Fabrication and welding skills
  • Computer Literacy
  • Strong Health and Safety focus
  • Reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team

 

The initial hours of work are Monday to Friday 10 hours per day and the appointee will be expected to work reasonable overtime on occasions.

Logyard Mobile Plant Operator – Maryvale Australia

Pedersen Group is seeking to employ a suitably experienced and qualified Logyard Mobile Plant Operator to join our operation at Opal Australian Paper Maryvale.

The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong Health and Safety focus
  • Previous demonstrable experience in operating a pivot Loader with bucket attachment
  • Log Forks and Excavator experience would be an advantage
  • Good practical mechanical aptitude
  • Reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised once trained
  • Motivated and show initiative.

The hours of work for the position are 5 days a week, day shift, and the position is a full-time permanent role.

Mobile Plant Operator - Maryvale Australia

Loader Operator Kinleith – Tokoroa Based (Shift)

Logyard Operator (Shift)

. Class 2 and W endorsement 

Pedersen Kinleith Ltd work as a partner to Oji FS at the Kinleith Mill managing the mill Log yard and ancillary services. We currently have a role for a shift loader Operator.

Applicants for this role should be able to demonstrate previous experience and current competency in the operating of a log loader or similar equipment. The primary function of the role is the unloading of log trucks and the servicing of the log decks of the mill. The position is a shift role working 4 on 2 off rotation permanent night shift of 12 hours per shift.

The holding of a class 2 license and W endorsement is required for the role but applicants who do not have these endorsements but have the demonstrated skills and experience should apply as support for you gaining your licenses may be given.
