    Pedersen Group is seeking to employ a Scaling Team Leader to join our Kinleith Operation.

    The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

    • Ability to motivate and lead the scaling team to ensure outcomes both Quality and Quantum are achieved consistently
    • Maintain Human Resource to meet production demand over 7-day roster
    • Responsible and accountable for team performance
    • Responsible and accountable for the scaling teams Health and Safety compliance and adherence.

    The hours of work are on a shift roster covering 7 days per week with regular additional hours offered to suit operational needs.

    This position provides the successful applicant the opportunity to join our Ticketing/Scaling team in a permanent position.

  2. Maintenance Fitter Kinleith – Tokoroa Based

    Pedersen Kinleith Limited is seeking to employ a suitable experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter.  Kinleith is growing with the installation of a new Debarking Plant and our Chipping and Debarking division moving to double shift, offering the successful applicant a variety of work on both the existing Chipping Plant and the Debarker.

    The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

    • Repair and maintenance of Heavy Industrial Equipment with exposure to Timber Processing plant an advantage
    • Fabrication and welding skills
    • Computer Literacy
    • Strong Health and Safety focus
    • Reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team

     

    The initial hours of work are Monday to Friday 10 hours per day and the appointee will be expected to work reasonable overtime on occasions.
